You can literally Google how many calories a 4’11" woman needs and it will tell you: 1450 calories. And that number is for someone NOT trying to lose weight! So yes, while this may seem like shockingly little food to some of you, I happen to be a shockingly petite woman! With the help of my doctor I’ve found a way to narrow down my calories to the type of hearty, nutrient dense foods that leave me satiated while also promoting weight loss. It’s not always easy, but let me tell you it has all been well worth it! All that said… PLEASE DO NOT COPY MY DIET IF IT DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU!! My mom is 4'10 and was 110-105 when she was your age and she ate ALOT(she lived off bread rice fish chicken cheese fruit and veges, also cake and sweets.) being short is no excuse to starve yourself and influecing short women to eat barley 900 calories a day is dangerous and disordered. Im 5'0 and i can eat 2,100 calories and lose weight. No app or docter or dietitian can tell you how much you need to eat in a day because that fluctuates day by day. You need help.

This is really unhealthy advice and you are putting it because your fans, who most likely mimic their idol, requested it and watch it cause they want to know what you do to lose weight and to look somewhat like you so this is what they go by. 😢 You seem to care too much about image, vanity and material things... so much so that you are not loving yourself to be able to love others in giving really healthy advice and making sure others don’t do this which hurts their bodies as well.

Here is the thing, I don’t have a problem with what you eat or how much you eat. because frankly, it’s none of my business what you choose to put in your body and I have no right to comment. My concern is that you are teaching a lot of disordered eating habits to others. Videos like this made me feel that I had to chug water when my body was screaming for me to eat, or that I needed to weigh myself every day, and that I couldn’t enjoy pizza when I went out with friends...all helped me develop an eating disorder (which with a lot of help, I have recovered from). I know you don’t mean to cause harm but please be careful of the message that you share on such a large platform. 💕

Hi Andriene. I love you and your content, BUT this diet is not sustainable. You will one day crash--you will one day have to eat even less to not gain. Fair warning. Don't mess with your metabolism like this. You ate super calorie light energy foods (though high in nutrition), but the body will adjust to that intake eventually--and not in a favorable way. Also, note, protein deficiency can cause sweet cravings as well.
All you have to do is eat protein, a complex carb and more veggies than everything else on your plate. You lose weight that way and workout. Stick to organic and whole foods. Meaning no processed foods. I'm 5'2 with 3 children and it worked for me. I do eat pizza, desserts once in awhile.
This “diet” is beyond restrictive. It’s to the point where it’s not healthy. But most likely that’s something you will discover along way during your health journey. It frustrated you think this is the way to fuel your body and loving your body. Your eating routine looks like behaviors of an eating disorder. All the best.
Im watching this and i see people getting upset about everything she says. Guys its her body if she wants to eat avocado on rice cake with as a snack let her do that. Sometimes when your body says your hunger you dont HAVE to eat a meal you can just drink water. Green juice is an excellent way to curve a craving especially if you wake up super early. Drinking a lot of water is very important and sometimes people just dont understand just how important it is. Have you ever thought tat some people just dont eat that much? My mom eats super small meals and shes a perfectly healthy women. Do whats best for YOUR body dont try to attack someone who is just sharing what they do for themselves. She wake up very early obviously she has to small 6am then other small meal 9am and so.. and soup is a meal not the simple one, real soup. In latinamerica we eat soup as a meal. Look up "Cazuela" or "Sancocho".

I am so sadden to even see these comments that people add on here. Everyone person, diet and life is different. Of course I am no famous person and I don't make my own life videos, but she is just trying to let you see what her life consist of. She probably eats and drinks more snack throughout the day when she doesn't have a camera on her back. The time she put in to explain a little more about her life takes probably is taking her time away to chug something down or snack on. 80% NUTRITION and 20% Exercise is a great modo plus she works with her own professional Doctor as she mentioned. Take care of yourself and stop criticizing other peoples health people. Good things is she is strong willed and does not care about all these negative comments. BTW she is at her appropriate weight for her height. I am supposed to be 115-125 pounds being about 5ft, but I haven't made that my goal. ugh, life goes on. I love your videos Adrienne. I start work at 5am so I usually start to drink on my 2 litter bottle which contains aloe, liftoff (energy booster tablet), fiber and collagen. This contains my hunger when I am rushing out the door and I didn't have time to blend my Formula 1 protein shake. My first break is at 7:30am so I drink my tea adding some of my water from my bottle and eat my lemon chocolate protein bar. At 11:30 is my second break and I'll eat some hummus with wheat crackers and some type of fruit and chug some water (obviously snack and fruit varies). By the time I leave work I should have at least 200ml of water left and I chug that before getting home. I then drink another F1 shake or snack with my baby until my fiance gets home so we can have are our family dinner and that's pretty much it. I am an Herbalife distributor, so most of all my products are Herbalife based. It's my healthy life style that I have been trying for the last 3 years. When consistent it works. Like you say, be strict with yourself, self determined, 80% nutrition, 20% exercise everything is possible. Just stick with what works for you.

So being cautious of your diet may seem extreme but for petite girls, how weight is distributed in us makes “extreme” justified.

Teaching us how to develop an eating disorder
Do not give the advice to chug water to “curb a craving”. This is advice that is used from Pro-Ana sites. I would know because I am in recovery. Please be careful. And no it doesn’t matter how tiny you are, 800 calories for an active woman isn’t enough. 800 calories is how much a hospital gives to a coma patient to maintain weight. Let that sink in. Shawn Johnson has a fabulous video about how she overcame her disordered eating going from 800 calories to plenty of calories. And she’s just as tiny. So please don’t use the excuse of height to not eat enough.

My deepest apologies but digital scales, online calorie calculators, even devices used by dieticians are just rough estimations. The human body is far more complex to be able to calculate its needs. Your metabolism actually is variable and it is not fixed. Some days you're more hungry and you eat large amounts of food. The next day you notice that you're not that hungry so it kinda balances itself out. Not to mention that forcing your body to eat a certain amount of food regardless of what that amount is kinda gets in the way of it reaching its natural setpoint weight. I highly recommend just listening to what your body needs and not to ignore the hunger cues... Plus you only live once and life is too short to not eat that cookie or that slice of pizza.. YOU DO NOT EXIST JUST TO PAY BILLS AND LOSE WEIGHT!
You should educate your followers about Arnold Ehret and detoxifocation, people seem very confused about the calorie equation and obviously do not understand what happens when we do this deep healing cleansing work. You're doing amazing and I am so glad to see someone with a huge following on this path 🙏🏼

I think you can find an intersection between eating for both pleasure and health at the same time! They don't have to be mutually exclusive, even for weight loss! I eat low sugar granola over plain full fat greek yogurt for breakfast and that is protein packed, low in added sugar, modest in calories, but also delicious and the yogurt is healthy ofc!

I’m five foot and probably eat closer to 2500 calories than 1500 calories.. my weight has been consistent for years. I’m active and probably have higher muscle mass than most but i know she’s active too and I just can’t imagine this is healthy or sustainable.

As you were speaking I was planning my menu in my head I'm writing it down and headed to wegmans in the morning as well as going to start going to bed early. After l wash my face in the morning with my creva I put ice cubes on my face then use my Bum sunscreen. I start off with string beans first because I need the energy then 30 min later eggs& bacon. I injured myself back in February so my ankles sort of prevents me from work outs to a certain extent. Oh dear - this is the second Adrienne vid I have seen and was really attracted to her sense of humour and naturalness but this vid is showing a woman with an eating disorder and rationalising it as ‘normal’. Avocado, juice, soup and a rice cake is not normal for a day’s healthy intake of food. Please don’t think this is healthy.
This type of eating habit will greatly decrease your fertility 😔 this is definitely a type of eating disorder Adrienne, whether you acknowledge it or not. And when, or if you get pregnant, you will either 1) start binge eating and gain all the weight back or 2) still eat in too much of a caloric deficit and have health issues.

Adrienne you’ve done an amazing job and you should be happy and proud of how long you’ve come, don’t give in to these comments. It’s a tough process to go through with all this, and especially being in the Industry, it’s hard to keep a sustainable diet. I’ve worked with many people in the Industry and I understand how hard it is. Remember guys she’s 4,11 so calorie intake is way different for someone who’s 5,5 as it is for someone who’s also 5,9. Also being vegan while trying to lose or maintain weight is hard because not many places sell different types of dishes unless you’re cooking it yourself. Also, some soups have healthy fats like she did with the avocado. So she probably has her calorie intake checked. A meal isn’t just satisfaction but also calorie intake and outtake. And to me it looked like she had 2 meals which was good and still healthy. She isn’t starving herself but training her body like everyone else. I go by ruq as in “Artbyruq”. We can’t shame her , same way as it’s wrong to shame anyone else.

As a latina i understand her majority of us have a slow metabolism i was 395 and 5 lbs away from my goal this is normal to me i currently eat 1,500 sometimes 1,200 and ive lost almost all of it labs are perfect energetic i smoke the girls in there 20' s in my workout class. Your body will adapt have discipline and nutritionist, trainers, psychologists nothing nobody got my metabolism. I did it myself investigating keto, low carb etc all i tried it to the T.
