Lyrics
I wanna bother God
I wanna feel the ground beneath my feet
But I’ve got a smile full of broken teeth
Goodbye
All the doves have flown away
I must’ve lost myself, lost myself, lost myself
I know it’s not enough
Why does defeat always taste so bittersweet
I just wanna live and die in peace
The flower that never blossoms is quickly forgotten
It must be gold if it’s glistening
I must’ve lost myself, lost myself, lost myself
Goodbye
All the doves have flown away
I must’ve lost myself, lost myself, lost myself
Fly high
‘Cause the ravens are here to stay
I must’ve lost myself, lost myself, lost myself in a cloud of
Dead butterflies
Epitaph Records is an artist-first indie label founded in Los Angeles by Bad Religion guitarist, Brett Gurewitz. Early releases from a variety of punk heavyweights helped launch the 90s punk explosion. Along the way, Epitaph has grown and evolved creatively while sticking to its mission of helping real artists make great recordings on their own terms.

Fav song of the new album, so beautiful
Only complaint is I wish i could turn it up louder!! 🤘
Круто
Wow thank you for this
Very good
The only band I have ever said heavy and beautiful in the same sentence. If you dont get it you never will
I already fell in love with this song!
You guys are amazing, keep it up!
If this isn’t your vibe, TRY it at 1.25speed.
amazing album 💯
Dad bod it flies?
The difference between these guys and the other bands that are "switching up their style" is you can clearly still tell this is architects like they changed it up but disney get rid of the stuff that made them who they are
This is an insanely good song. It has so much power and energy. Hadn't had that kind of feeling in a while.
Thank you. thank you thank you i lost my brother to cancer and the pain of the loss only gets heavier with every day, and there's nobody who i can truly talk about this, because the only person who truly understood me is now gone, and nothing helps. thank you for still making music after your own horrible loss, because i know that others too keep one foot in front of the other and keep going, keep creating, and i will do too. thank you for making music that expresses what i myself can't. thank you.
BMTH :/
What is this? bands today lack tone and riffs, C leaguers
Tom Searle is rolling over in his grave at how awful this is.
reminds me of why you gotta kick me when im down by bmth, the orchestral background (like in a devastating liberation)
Great Song.....
I so badly hope they do an acoustic version of this ❤
How badly I want to see Architects live again. How badly I want to sit in the Royal Albert Hall and listen to the whole Album with an Orchestra. This would be incredible.
This song is just incredible, it'd helping me get through one of the hardest fights in my life
Anyone else get fucked on the vinyl preorder by Kings Road?
Wow. Phenomenal. The brass is just incredibly creative and sounds fantastic.
😴😴😖
Upon my first listen of this album, I definitely noticed it was different than their previous work but literally, the more I listen to this varied record, the better it gets and it's not hard to appreciate the incredible songwriting/production! At first I thought I liked holy hell better but I feel this record tops it and Tom would be beyond proud of you guys for keeping his music going strong! 🔥
such shite many poo
Love this album. Listening to it repeatedly this week.
Enchanting song gives me f’n goosebumps, so Amazing 🤩
Rushia would probably enjoy this song.
#DeadButterflies
This auto-played off a Jonny Craig song and thank god for that, this is great!
I'm so sad. It feels like they lost what made them special. I really don't like the new stuff, sonds like every other metalcore band.
Sorry for your lost.
tom is proud of u dan keep it up!!!!
Idk why, but this music reminds me Saosin. Great thing) thank you mates for this track... No words to describe the feelings
I feel this song i feel the part when he says i lost myself. I lost myself again harder again the start of this year. I lost my uncle 6 days before my 21st bday broke an just now listened to this an felt that hit harder than hell but knowing hes in a better place still makes me feel like i lost myself again an strugglin to pick myself up again from falling down
Impractical Jokers Butterfly Crime Scene anyone?
Whole drums works on new Architects album were engineered by Adam Nolly Getgood, ex Periphery. Great work.
Nolly still produces for Periphery but he no longer plays bass for them.
I feel a bit silly leaving a comment but, by the off chance Dan may see this, I just wanted to say thank you. This songs really touched me in a special way. In December 2020 I lost my older sister to a murder suicide and it’s been really hard to cope with it and why it even happened. This song is really beautiful and speaks to me. I’m so sorry for your loss Dan, I know it’s been a few years now but, this song brings me to tears and you’ve moved me, Thank you.
Play this at my funeral
For those singing for end times... Really dig for Architects. Following from the last 2 albums. Not disappointed.
Почему так мало просмотров??? 🙄😳
Minute of silence for all those who never heard this masterpiece Y..Y
Épico ......
its my new favorite song on the album
My dad introduced you guys to me about a year ago and I've fallen in love with your music. I have so many favorites already and this new album is just perfect!
Generally good album with few small diamonds like this song... Although I miss Sam's "BLUH"
❤️❤️❤️❤️ hoping one day I get the opportunity to see these guys
This song is perfect. Beautiful.
This is powerful, I love it.
Tom would be absolutely fucking proud of you, Dan.
here to stay
Simplesmente um HINO!
Getting Manchester orchestra- the silence vibes from this
I knew as soon as i heard the intro that the focus would be melodic vocals, which is fine by as those have tended to be my favourite parts of songs on recent albums and continues the trend of the decreasing 'Blegh' count. I'll have to have a listen to the rest of the album.
maybe their only good and intresting song of the new album
Does anyone know what they’re using to achieve these orchestral/string sounds? Did they record an actual orchestra with session musicians? I don’t see any orchestra info listed in the credits. Either way they sound fucking incredible. If they used plugins to program these sounds, I am buying them asap lol.
Best drummer in the word plays for this band such a huge fan in of his
Dan Searle murders drums man. Too good and creative. Whole band is nutty
This song has an effect on me that nobody can explain but me. It makes me breakdown cause it reminds me of my father who passed. I plan on writing a song about him that's in the style of this song. Maybe it will be the way I cope with his passing. Thank you architect for this master piece I really needed it. ❤️❤️
My fav song ever
Love this song, and it reminds me a bit of Undertaker's WWE theme music during the chorus. But better.
I can’t thank you guys enough. Sincerely. From one human to another. Thank you!
Poor Butterflies ❤️
Hey the album is out now. And this is still the best song 🦋 The song that definitely touches the soul
I'M..."MORTAL AFTER ALL".
Someone should take sals "a butterfly crime scene" and edit it in lol
I want to make a saxophone version of this
New album tomorrow!
This song is incredible! I have no other words it's that good!
Sexy song
Goosebumps! If Architects and Spirtbox could tour together, that would be devine.
Wow. This song is amazing. Different than expected, but Architects change things up quit often so... This has epic all over it
By far the most impactful song on my life in maybe a decade
love the intro
Love from Northern Ireland 🇬🇬
Such profound and truthfully lyrics packed into symphonies like this are just incredible. Thank you so much for this wonderful support in the own spiritual journey, to recognize who and what we really are. The world needed it so much. Have tears in my eyes during hearing and writing this words. Thank you thank you thank you! Send love and hope to all of you. Big greetings from Austria.
Saudações do Brasil!!!
Wow GOOSEBUMPS CHILLS WHAT A TRACK
omg
you guys seriously can't make one bad song.. I bow to you
Sal Vulcano must be proud.
☠🦋=🔥🔥🔥
I usually don't like when bands change up their music too much because it just doesn't sound as good, but Architects is the exception where it always gets better and better.
@Razor Edge and thats kool man
@Deric Deandre I don't think they sound like BMTH, I think they now just sound like a more toned down and mellow version of themselves, and I'm personally not a fan of it.
@Lyrical Jones give me proof name a bmth song that sounds like animals give me a bmth song that sounds like dead butterflies only then will i agree and apologise for supporting and defending my favourite band
@Deric Deandre not wrong at all. You're just in denial. Architects use to have their own unique and technical sound.. Now, unfortunately. They sound like a generic clone of a band who's already done it. So sad.
@Lyrical Jones lmao not being specific coz you know you're wrong
perdeu a escencia.. nao gostei aquela pegada metal core com melodico era muito boa agr viro simple plan
nada haver , eu gostei ficou parecido com BMTH , O album tá bem comteporaneo
This is a great song!
Got a hint of Demon Hunter to it.
awesome
OMG, this album is legendary. Every song is a great song. Keep going man. I love your songs.
This was fucking beautiful 😍
These new songs have helped me through my grieving process since the passing of my son.
Это лучшее, чтоя слышал в своей жизни. Спасибо.
@Smarttvpleer Smarttvpleer Hohy hell на голову выше.
